The apartments were nice and the agents were helpfulsubmitted by Lyllian V. - |Recommended: YesThe amenities are wonderful, especially the comfortable clubhouse and gym. There’s a dog park which is very thoughtful. The leasing agents were very kind and helpful. Overall a great experience with the complex, just bad roommates who drove me out.

Love Living Here, One of the best apartments I ever lived insubmitted by Jarrod D. - |Recommended: YesI have been here since October 2018. I love the staff, the property is beautiful. I am in a renovated unit, all nice and updated. Super dog friendly. The staff is always willing to help and the maintenance is always there usually right away . I would totally recommend this place,

Best Apartment I have ever lived in Austinsubmitted by Michelle E. - |Recommended: YesThe staff is friendly and quick to take care of any issues or concerns. The complex is quiet and the neighbors are respectful. Visitor parking is a bit of a pain but that’s my only issues. Amenities are fantastic. This is a place you shouldn’t pass up.

Nice property, poor customer service staffsubmitted by Francis S. - |Recommended: NoThe amenities are great and the garage is a huge plus. Walls are thin and there is too much noise from neighbors, had to make multiple complaints. Office staff is often unfriendly and unhelpful with resolving issues.

I like my unit location, but that's about it.submitted by Jarhari S. - |Recommended: NoI've lived at Alister for a year, and for the most part I'm happy with my location of my unit, but after that I have a lot of issues. One being the parking, it's awful and now I have to pay for a garage, so that I can have a parking space at night when I come home from work, which is not right because management gives out more parking stickers than what parking spaces are allotted on the south side. I was give a garage at half price, but now that it's time to renew my lease I have to pay full price, although the parking situation has not gotten better. Next, I have to pay for trash pick 25.00 that I will never use because I'm never home because I'm working, and Alsiter doesn't let you opt-out, so I'm paying an extra 10.00 a month per-year which 120.00 for a service I will never use, and the sad part about it is I was never asked. Also, the trash area needs to be power washed, it's nasty, but it's not cleaned up at all. It's funny how we as resident are told to clean our patios, the ground are not clean. I can care less about having a remodeled community room because the other community room and gym were just fine. I rather have a parking space in close proximity of my unit that I don't have to pay for. For the most part Management doesn't bother you, but if you have an issue they act like your asking for too much or something I'm not sure what's that all about. I worked in the property management industry for over 5 years in the Bay Area, and I have never seen a Property Management Company avoid important issue like Mill Creek, it's mind boggling me. I love the location, so that's why I'm going to renew my lease for one more year, and only because I'm waiting for new apartments to be built next door to my job. It's sad because the goal should be resident retention, not a high turn over rate, and keep the good residents you have happy, and not giving residents with true and legitimate complaints a whole lot of fluff and SB, but actually deal with the issues at had and come up with real and tangible measurable outcome because ultimately when a unit is setting empty, and it needs to be turned the property is losing money, and I've noticed a few empty units sitting for some time. I'm not go to keep going, but I will say I find it interesting that my rent is being raised more than the national average, and I have to pay more for my parking space that I would not be paying for if the parking was handled correctly, which is just not good customer service at the end of the day. There's no need for me to write a yelp or google review because I see the replies by management and they are just a cut and past reply, no true genuine I want to help you, so it's like why bother. I'll be here for one more, and it's sad because I really love the location of the apartment complex and my unit. Thank you, Jarhari Pinheiro Unit 8104S

Its an okay apartmentsubmitted by Jeannine R. - |Recommended: NoThere are never enough parking spots, visitors never park in visitor parking spots, along with that parking spaces are tight which means your car will get a lot of scratches. Gate remote only sometimes work. The only good part is the apartment it self. I got the renovated apartment but now coming to realize its not its money worth. Floor boards starting to come up, paint is chipping, drawers get stuck due to the fact they just painted over the old cabinets. Valet trash never comes when it says it will comes at midnight or it just doesn't come at all.

The price I'm paying for my apartment is almost equal to what I paid In New York and Northern VA which doesn't equate to the cost of living in Austin..... Apartments aren't affordable
